Spark plasma sintering furnace (SPS) (20T, 1600℃)

    Spark plasma sintering furnace has a maximum temperature of 1600℃. It can be used for material annealing, material thermocompression bonding, surface treatment and synthesis, etc. The treated sample can be metal, ceramic, nano material, amorphous material, and the like. It is perfectly fit solid electrolyte and electric thermal  material research.

SPARK PLASMA SINTERING (SPS) is a new technology for rapid powder consolidation. SPS uses a high current pulsed power supply to excite and promote material consolidation and reaction sintering processes. Compared with the traditional technology, the SPS can adjust the density values of various conductors, non-conductors and composite materials to any demand value during the processing. SPS minimizes the experimental time and energy consumption and also maintain the micro-nano structure of the material. Therefore, since its birth, it has quickly become an important tool in many fields such as scientific research, new material research and development, and industrial production.

•  Made of high purity graphite by HIP processing, Max. Pressure for the die is 50 MPa, and  Max. Load from the hydraulic press is dependent on die's ID

    • 0.5" ID: Max. pressure 0.5T

    • 1.0" ID: Max. pressure 3T
