Lab scale roll-to-roll flat tape caster is a compact continuous tape caster for battery electrode sheets with circulation drying heater. Such system integrates electrostatic dust removal system which enables the particle-free coating environment. It can coat thick film sheet up to 1.5 mm thickness, 150mm width and 4 meters long in a roll-to-roll type of fashion.
Lab scale roll-to-roll flat tape caster uses a vacuum chuck and an oil-free vacuum pump to adsorb the fixed substrate, so that the substrate is free from wrinkles during the coating process, thereby making the coating more uniform and smooth, and preventing the contamination of the substrate by the oil in the vacuum pump.The width of the film during the working process of the Heated vacuum doctor-blade film coater can be controlled according to the width of the film forming blade. The baffle in the middle of the blade can be moved left and right. When the baffle and the side of the blade completely overlap, the film width reaches the limit.
